Spatial Planning & Functionality

The resort is organized as a contour-responsive, stepped development that follows the natural slope of the site. The primary accommodation block consists of 15 deluxe rooms arranged across terraced levels, with each room provided with an attached washroom and a private balcony/verandah.

The balconies are positioned towards the valley, providing guests with uninterrupted opportunities to experience the surrounding landscape. The stepped arrangement also helps maintain individual views and privacy between accommodation levels.

The overall master plan incorporates separate villa and cottage units, a dining and kitchen facility, landscaped outdoor areas, organic farming zones, and circulation paths integrated into the existing terrain.

Architectural Features

The design combines traditional Nepali architecture with contemporary resort aesthetics. Exposed brick facades, terracotta-tiled sloping roofs, and traditional detailing create a warm vernacular character. The stepped and terraced building form follows the natural terrain, while private balconies, deep verandahs, and large glazed openings maximize valley views and natural light. Cavity wall construction improves thermal insulation and indoor comfort, complemented by deep roof overhangs for weather protection. Rainwater harvesting, organic farming, and landscape-sensitive planning further reinforce the resort’s sustainable design approach.
